Archetype - M.D Waters

Read an amazing book this week. It’s called Archetype by M.D Waters. I think I’m a little behind the times with this one but wow so good. It’s in a dystopian future which I’m all about right now (thanks to Handmaid's tale mostly). This future is similar ish in the sense that its very focused on gender. There are few women in this storyline so they’re highly coveted. The main character wakes up with no memories and she there’s this extremely handsome man around that’s just waiting to tell her what her past was. At the same time, there is another handsome guy who is saying a completely different past. The whole you’re just as confused as Emma about which guy is telling the truth and you go back and forth with which one you want to be true. As a character, Emma is a BAB and she is pretty awesome to follow throughout the story. There are huge plot twists and jaw dropping moments throughout the whole book and I definitely recommend to all of my dystopian future lovers. The best part of this book is that it’s not YA so the main character is a grown up and it’s awesome.
